Summary

PaperWorks is currently seeking a skilled Millwright to work on a full-time, permanent basis out of our facility at 120 Trillium Drive in Kitchener, Ontario.

 

We offer a competitive compensation package which includes health & dental benefits and disability benefits, as well as a group pension program. Starting hourly pay rate ranging from $39.73-$41.03 (dependent on skills and experience), plus shift premiums and a discretionary bonus program.

Responsibilities

The Millight is responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment within our 24/7 production facility. The individual ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. They meet or exceed production, quality and efficiency requirements at all times.  Duties also include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems on equipment
  • Participate in our structured preventative maintenance program
  • Respond to breakdown calls
  • Follow and complete all work instructions for each job, and document work order details using our CMMS (MP2)
  • Responsible for knowing and following all lock out procedures
  • Safely use shop equipment such as lathes, mills, drill press, soldering iron, and a multi-meter
  • Wear appropriate PPE and abide by the Electrical Safety Program at all times
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, walkies, and Genie booms
  • Involved in emergency response
  • Perform housekeeping and other related duties

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates must hold both a 344A Millwright license with demonstrated work experience maintaining production equipment.
