The Finishing Adjuster must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. He/she must have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience setting up and running a gluer or windower.


The Finishing Adjuster is responsible for the set up and efficient operation of the gluer and/or windower. He/she ensures conformance to all Health and Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, efficiency and quality requirements at all times.


Summary of essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system.
  • Set up equipment for product according to customer specifications.
  • Assist and train operators in set up and operation of equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on Finishing equipment
  • Drive root cause analysis to machine problems, recommend solutions and be active in problem solving events such as Kaizan.
  • Monitor supply levels and order through the Finishing Manager as needed.
  • Responsible for knowing Finishing lockout procedures.
  • Complete quality checks to ensure only conforming product is being produced.
  • Record production data (output, downtime etc).
  • Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required.
  • Work a rotating 12 hour continental shift
